Unlike this piece, most flight hardware was hermetically sealed. I believe it is a communications junction box, which may be what the ‘JB’ on the label is an acronym for. The 120v style plug-in suggests it is probably ground support equipment for something – maybe a tracking station? IBM played a major role in the processors that streamed data to the control consoles at Mission Control. Hey Rover, This piece of hardware is, in my opinion, not flight hardware. Unlike this piece, most flight hardware was hermetically sealed.
